…and no configurable filters, so these give wildly inaccurate readings for generator or even compressor installs etc.

Hard pass.

I was all excited until I saw the regular price. Even less when I read what was actually included... if it was the circuit tester (which I have...) included instead of a voltage tester that is being sold with something that also reads voltage... I would be psyched.

I have the Non contact voltage tester with laser pointer and the tail cap cracked/popped off under spring pressure after about 2.5 years of owning it. Very light home/diy usage, never dropped and lived clipped into a loop on the interior of a tool pouch. It actually was in the pouch and idle for the past 6-8 months when I noticed it was popped out.

I was disappointed to learn that I was beyond warranty period since this appears to be a material defect. I should take Stezie's route to replacement. Just kidding, I jb welded it and duct taped the piece back on.

Okay deal, if you need them... which most people never will. (Not really front page worthy though, IMO.) Probably better to just get the basic outlet tester and maybe the non-contact voltage testers [amazon.com] by themselves (inexpensive Gardner Bender set for $10.50, for example).

If you know you need a clamp meter plus the extras, and this one (CL120, kinda basic) does what you need, then sure, go ahead.

PS. CL120 clamp meter by itself is $57 from Home Depot.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is a good deal, but definitely not a front page slick deal at only $8 off the regular price. It just made it to the front page from the burst of activity related to that dweeb who confessed to consumer fraud.
