Lowe's has them same price . ..or cheaper if you have a Lowe's coupon, or purchase gift cards with credit card rewards etc. the price won't change.

Price is good for another 50 days (04/30/2023)

I'm thinking of buying this from Lowe's. Any recommendations? https://www.lowes.com/pd/IRWIN-VI...1003142296

I agree Amazon way too many fake items. My mom bought my kids 2 hoverboards from the same seller for my daughters. They came in completely different boxes and one stopped working with days. Check the 4,000+ reviews they look good ..then when you sort by most recent you see hundreds of 1 star and getting a refund was painful taking over 45 days of back and forth with Amazon.

Amazon is the new ebay. Race to the bottom, it's just Temu...but ship faster and more expensive.

Bought them in April 2020 for $60. Good tools and holds up to the quality I would expect from Irwin. Would probably still get them at this price too if I needed the tools.

Meh. Used to be made in US and even Germany (some?). Now almost exclusively in China. Not terrible, but you sometime get what you pay for.

Would buy this if I needed half of the tools. I use the locking pliers with the button more than 90% of my other tools. I've given them as gifts and the recipients agree that they're very useful and well made.

Amazon items are so questionable with fakes mixed in. I wish these were from HD or somewhere instead.

I have this set and use them daily, they're alright. The teeth are beginning to wear out at a quicker rate than my more expensive branded tools though. Still a decent buy for a DIY'er.

I bought this a couple of years ago for $50 from woot. Pretty great set to have at the ready. I have a mechanic tool set, a really good ratcheting screwdriver, and these pliers and I can do almost all of my home diy fixes with just those tools. I keep them all in my truck under the seat ready to go

These are subpar. Soft teeth rust prone.
I got these for 60 bucks 3 years ago

Bought it last time for the same price. Already used 3 of the tools, and they are great for the price.

This almost always comes up in these deals, so I will post now. Tools are made in Taiwan and bag is made in China. I think the adjustable wrench is also made in China, but can never seem to find a definitive answer from Irwin.

I bought these for $56 a few years ago. No way the MSRP is realistic. Tools aren't bad and certainly come in handy for the DIYer

I do my best as often as I can to buy locally. Walmart a store I try to avoid actually sells an ok assortment of US made items.
FWIW foreign sourced products as a whole aren't terrible in all cases but in my opinion it is China primarily that profits most from IP theft.

Have had zero issues with Amazon fakes . Returned probably 40 things with instand refunds if not a couple days depending on where the return was in the last 2 years with like 300 orders lol
