I think what's even more impressive is that when this was launched in 1977 as the Atari VCS it cost $199, which is the equivalent of $970 today.

Yeah, at that price, I think they'd make crazy money if it was an Atari you built out of Legos. The secondary market on cartridges would sky rocket, unless they did some sixty included games or something
