You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.

Also things to keep in mind:

Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

Is there anywhere we can track the 90k? Under the ultimate rewards section, there is a tracker but that shows 80k only on the 4k spend. (I applied in the branch and spend 4k already).
did you spend the extra $2k within the 6 months.. only after you spend the $4k first 3 months and additional $2k in 3-6 months.. youll see the extra 10k miles... after the billing cycle. enjoy

spending 6k and only showing 4k seems unlikely but it would show all your transactions cost. the 6k alone satisfy the requirements within the 6 months. would call them directly

ok this is a horrible/silly question but I was wondering if I sign up for this card, can I use it for buying groceries and what not?
i was planning on booking a flight + groceries to build up to spending $4,000.

the flight will cost around 3K and I'm hoping the groceries can cover the rest, is that possible for me to do?

also do I have to order from Chase Travel my flight? or can I order using a different site using my credit card

Spend it anywhere. Not restricted to chase travel for flights.

i booked a vacation trip and easily got the 80K (online signup) bonus, plus another 10k from the 2% travel...most likely ending up canceling the card once the year ends.
For those who don't book much through their portal, not much benefit to keep this card, right?

if you plan to apply for newer credit card in the future, its better to downgrade this card after 1 year to a chase no fee card like flex or unlimited, so your credit score wont be effected and to help keeping the life of credit history longer, otherwise, you can still cancel if you dont want to downgrade

I thought I couldn't spend $6k in 4 months but my current card balance is sitting at $10K. RIP.

This was never an online offer- it was in-branch only- and it's been dead for days now.

You CAN still get 10k more than the current online offer in branch though (70k instead of 60k)

The tracker shows only 4k spend/80k points. But the additional 2k spend posted 10k points+ actual. I spend 2k more than the 4k and the 2k spend awarded 12,000 points (instead of just 2000). So at the end got the full 90k.

Wish i got the CSR (MDD) too but got denied for 5/24 (but CSP also 5/24 but they still approved)

There's not much benefit to keeping this card period (and the portal, esp. with this card, isn't really worth using in most cases either).

If you do not travel significantly then yes- downgrade to a free chase card after 1 year.

if you DO travel significantly then consider upgrade to a Sapphire Reserve, which has massively more benefits (far in exceeds of the larger annual fee if you can use even half of em)- plus it lets you get more value out of your points as well.
I got the CSP in January. Can I sign up for the Freedom card now in order to get the $200 SUB, and then downgrade the CSP to a different Chase card next year?

Sure- you can even downgrade the CSP to a second freedom if you want (again after you've had it 1 year)
