Perfect, needed something cheap for the garage (since it is my main entry but I don't spend much time there other than detailing my car)

I'd recommend you get the winix c545 at costco for $10 more if you can. It has been well reviewed by many people and the company had had many successful models. This one just seems like rolling the dice.

There is only one filter that comes with this unit. They combine carbon, mesh and pleated into one piece but call it three filters. Another filter ships to you after purchase from China. 3,000 filter lifespan, so expect maybe four months service before filter change…filters are $59 for (1) this unit.

$180 a year for filters seems pricey.

I know this as is from years ago but I am wondering if you have any idea where to purchase replacement filters for the WAF05 LARGE air purifier? Are there generics available? I just hate to toss out 4 air purifiers that I purchased a year ago
