Final edit: you can't sign up again if you did the Netflix + NFL special in December

How does this interact with the Netflix + NFL premium special from December? I am trying to sign up for this with masterclass, but the Verizon webpage keeps taking me in infinite loops/not getting anywhere.

Edit: when clicking on the $89.99/year deal with free year of Netflix , a pop up says "+play is available to Verizon Mobile and 5G Home customers. Are you a new customer? Shop Verizon plans to unlock your access". I click "existing customer" (I am a postpaid mobile customer). At that point the deal refreshes to offer a 3 month free trial of masterclass, but the Netflix option has been removed.

Over the years I got to realize that big wireless and cable companies aren't equally greedy. Verizon is definitely the top 1.

What happens if you cancel your Verizon service in a couple of months? Do you still keep the streaming subscriptions given they were already paid for?
Netflix will bill 19.99 from the time you cancel your Verizon service; you can choose to cancel Netflix on the same date.

Can you sign up for Paramount+ Essential at $49.99/annual and get the Netflix free or does it have to be Paramount+ Premium? Couldn't see it anywhere saying it had to be Paramount Premium. I got an email and it just stipulates

"*Purchase of new annual subscription to Paramount+, Calm Premium, Peloton App, Super Duolingo, MasterClass, AMC+ or STARZ required."
Called Verizon, they confirmed you can just sign up for the Paramount + Essential annual at $49.99 and get the Netflix deal.

I did it and it worked with no issues. The lady gave me an additional $15/month credit for being a long time loyal Verizon customer. I didn't even ask, she just offered it. That was on top of a $25/month loyalty discount we already have, she said they would stack. Sure enough, we are getting $40/month off now and will be paying $88.92/month for our two lines of unlimited going forward. This whole thing turned into a SLICKDEAL+ for us.

Question is how did you do it? Did you find it in offers for Verizon subscriptions? I see paramount essentials but when were you prompted to apply discount to Netflix?

Are you absolutely sure that she gave you BOTH $15off/mo AND Netflix free with Paramount+essentials sub? That sounds suspicious to me ... $15 off per month is equal to Netflix free ($20 off) less the $5/mo difference between Paramount premium and Paramount essentials... In other words she might have given you a reduced discount for the reduced subscription, which would mean in the end you're paying the same amount (actually even a bit more) for Paramount essentials +Netflix as others are paying for Paramount premium +Netflix. You're just paying half of it spread out over a year. I'd call and check the regular monthly bill amount compared to before the deal if I were you.

I took Netflix plus Paramont plus. Can't sign in from Roku. Tried to stream from Verizon phone, but it says I can only change from Verizon app. Don't know what to change. I am trying to watch Everything Everywhere all at once.

Thanks for your concern. I'm absolutely sure. I paid the Paramount+ Essential annual subscription of $49.99 and I was able to activate both Paramount+ and Netflix. I only have the charge of $49.99 on my +play billing. Both are active.

I also looked on my cellular bill and my next month's bill shows $40 Loyalty "VALUED CUSTOMER $40 DISC 2 PH". It used to be $25, now it's $40. It also shows under my New Monthly Bill. My new monthly bill is $88.92 after all taxes/fees. I specifically asked if this was going to be forever and she said, "As long as you are a Verizon customer it will." She made it sound like it was due to me having some issues with customer service getting to the right representative and the chat disconnecting. I really don't understand it either, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Trust me, if I see a charge later I'll be contacting them, but it does appear to be real.

I received an email from Verizon for the Netflix deal and clicked on it through the email. That's when I saw the available +play subscriptions and clicked on Paramount+, saw the options and called before subscribing for the $49.99/year Paramount+Essential deal. They were both in my +play subscriptions under "Manage" and I clicked on the "activate" buttons to set them up.

Paramount and Netflix seems like a reasonable duo for $100/year right?
