Generally Xfinity doesn't show any better plans for existing customers.I had 39.99 per month plan before but they were showing similar(same speed) 39.99 plan but $10 auto pay discount . Saved me $10 per month on my plan .There were of bunch plans and each shows wether it will lesser your bill or you need pay extra . I am in central Jersey and this could be total ymvv.

Watch your next bill. It will probably have no discounts because they will tell you that offer you changed into is only for new customers.

It generated new bill and reflected savings (29.99 instead of 39.99)
