My wife and I take turns putting the account in our names every 2 years. We just alternate.

You're right. The standard plan doesn't include unlimited data. Most states have a 1.2TB/month soft data cap -- some North Eastern states are exempt from that data cap I believe. From what I understand, users who go over the data transferred per month are given one warning if they go over it the first time. The next months if they do go over the limit, they'll get charged something like $10 overage fee per 50GB, maximum of $100 overcharge fee. See: https://www.xfinity.com/support/a...ceed-usage

However, I am seeing that the Xfi Complete addon is available for $10/month extra bringing the total costs up to $35/month. For $35/month this plan still seems worth it with unlimited data and higher upload speeds (for select regions [reddit.com])***.

If anyone is going with this plan, I do recommend getting this "Xfi Complete" as it unlocks unlimited data caps (as opposed to 1.2TB without it), and it also unlocks upload speeds which for me tested out to be around 115Mbps, as opposed to something much less like 10Mbps without. For me, this add-on is essentially a required item.

For anyone's existing network setup, I actually didn't have to configure and/or make much changes to my network settings either. With Xfinity's gateway, I just logged in and switched to Bridge mode, which essentially made it a modem-only and then connected my router via ethernet wired, and everything worked as per my previous configuration I had with my previous internet service provider.

Does anyone else use more than 1.2 TB? I regularly do over the monthly limit but Xfinity says that in the minority that do. I figured with 4K and all the devices in the house this is the norm now.

I don't think this comes with unlimited data
The data cap is not valid for these states.

This plan was rolled out as of November 2016. However, this data plan is currently not applicable to our Northeast markets, including the states of CT, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, VA, VT, WV, the District of Columbia, and parts of NC and OH.

Very ymmv... We are close to the "node" and we regularly get 120% of the contracted speeds.

Says "optional" Social Security Number with Autopay or $100 deposit when sign up online just asks for date of birth.

It says, "Using the 10G network".
Does this mean it's not the hardwired coax cable internet? Seems like that would be bad for gamers.

Pretty good deal. It was under my gf's name and I set it up under my name. $25.53 a month total for 200mbps, prices good for 2 years. We are currently paying $73 a month for 400mbps.

If that's truly what you're getting, you need to contact your ISP to troubleshoot that. Also, you need to check the speed on a wired connection for accurate results. Wireless can be impacted by so many factors.
