However, I am seeing that the Xfi Complete addon is available for $10/month extra bringing the total costs up to $35/month. For $35/month this plan still seems worth it with unlimited data and higher upload speeds (for select regions [reddit.com])***.
If anyone is going with this plan, I do recommend getting this "Xfi Complete" as it unlocks unlimited data caps (as opposed to 1.2TB without it), and it also unlocks upload speeds which for me tested out to be around 115Mbps, as opposed to something much less like 10Mbps without. For me, this add-on is essentially a required item.
For anyone's existing network setup, I actually didn't have to configure and/or make much changes to my network settings either. With Xfinity's gateway, I just logged in and switched to Bridge mode, which essentially made it a modem-only and then connected my router via ethernet wired, and everything worked as per my previous configuration I had with my previous internet service provider.

After the modem disconnected, I power cycled it. Wife's Xfinity app kept showing an error when trying to activate, the in-app and website chats just gave her the run-around to use the app. She only managed to get a live support agent to activate the modem by calling the same number I used.
Is it wired, DSL, cable? Or is it all wireless?
At this point I should be good, he gave a credit for the prorated amount on the old account but damn. Typical Comcast.
Oh AND they sent a 7 year old manufactured date, used, paint stained cisco XB3 because of the speeds. Ugh. No shiny white tower. But an up dated flex.
FYI those free flex gonna get charged in June irrc

Make sure what ever modem you have supports those speeds or greater... I would check your power level and SNR ratings in you modems diagnostic page, you may need a new cable ran from their box, maybe rooted your splitter if you use one anywhere (a lot of bad ones and they can go bad over time).. could be you inside Coax run, it can can degrade over time especially if exposed to the elements also rodents can chew on the the wires, etc. . Your router has to be able to handle those speeds a lot of lower end routers can't (try a direct pc to modem connection to test that). You should be using cat 5e/6/6a network cables. Also Wireless speeds are typically less fast then wired. They can have your modem provisioned incorrectly my dad upped his speed and wasn't getting new speeds it after checking everything comcast guy did something over the phone with techs, like taking the modem off the account and adding it back, something was messed up on their end with the registration of the modem in their system. It definitely can be a learning experience figuring it all out but something is wrong, Good luck !
Caps just artificially set set an upper limit. As far as getting less speed depends on if you getting now .If more then 200 your would be capped down to 200, if less then if not its not going to lower you speeds...
