Make sure you get the Upgraded 2023 ( or Upgarded ?) version with all the new Tech and Specs.
Last years version won't be as quick and efficient while watering the garden or washing your car.

They are light weight but don't last long from my experience.

Frankly surprised to still see these on the market. The inside is basically a huge thin-walled elastomeric tube, kind of like inflating a balloon in a sock. It will degrade, probably bust some holes, then be useless. These type also tend to fail at the fittings.

as much as one may not like the heft of traditional hoses, you're likely better off just getting a standard hose, paying a bit more, but also not having to buy another every year.

Terrible idea. Definitely stick to a traditional hose, even a light duty. These things have a temperature rating of like 110 degrees F, so you'll likely be cleaning up messes sometime in the middle. I can't imagine a situation where you would need 100 feet anyways. Literally any other standard hose will work.

I agree completely but back in the day when Sears was still around, those 50ft black rubber hose was cheaper than this 25' crappy expandable hose. Those hoses last forever, my 3 hoses are over 10 years old and no problems yet.

Worth it for the nozzle; hose must be stored inside out of freezing conditions or it falls apart 2nd season. I like the ability too use without lugging around something heavy weight. Some may not. Flimsy if you have livestock don't think it would hold up long; but if light use small garden / plants / auto washing & If you're willing/able too use accordingly will prob last a few basic use years. Moneys worth this day and age; for the nozzle.

People said these will wear down faster but still, I preferred these over those harder/thicker one. These are cheap enough where I can just replace one when needed. Got two over a year old and still working w/o any issue

100% agree. This becomes completely un-usable if left outside for just a few months during the summer in the Southwest... you're better off buying something a lot more sturdy,.

A few years ago, I bought 4-5 different expanding hoses from different brands from different sales. Half of them already went bad and I didn't even leave them out in the sun or under pressure for long durations.
These hoses are really really easy to use but expect them to break / leak within 2 years.
