I absolutely don't need another SSD, but if 2TB drop to $50s range, I'm getting one LOL

bum, just ordered at $90 few days ago at ebay's newegg, guess no price protection.

great drive at a great price - just wonder why pay 50% more for a 2TB - yesterday's frontpage: https://slickdeals.net/f/16506406-2tb-crucial-p5-plus-m-2-nvme-pcie-gen-4-solid-state-drive-ssd-122-99-f-s-amazon

I ordered the 1TB,same model, last night for $45. Newegg was great on cancelling this order! Missed this deal last time. Do you seriously think this will drop that low? $50. What if we are currently in the best the market gets? Itchy trigger finger, but I will wait. If you understand market better than I, please explain.

I am pretty good at guessing the bottom - this time maybe $70 but not lower, no chance hitting 50 this year.

Anyone care to comment if the Crucial 2TB one from Amazon for $122 is worth almost $40 more than this one?

If u need and can utilize the extra read/write speed offered by gen4 pcie. Otherwise no difference in day to day use even with windows/game startup

holy hell! Newegg just gave me a $10 credit back for the price drop. Smilie

If you just need Gen3, this is it. If you need Gen4 due to limited m2 slots, this is not it.
