Noticed this doesn't have a shadow cut line indicator, that's a big miss as I've gotten used to relying on that to visualize my kerf
Gotta love the clown who downvoted you for providing useful information to others about the sighting system.

What an absolute loser.

Price is $399 today only

This saw was $600 WITH the gravity rise stand before Christmas...I'm sitting tight to see a similar deal again or a deal for like $650-$700 for the 12" with the gravity rise stand (T4B). Either size would be fine. These are some big/heavy saws

I love my 10" dual bevel non slider from Ridgid, absolutely tiny by comparison to the 12" slider. But the utility of being able to cross cut many more inches just increases the utility of the tool so much it's hard to say no.

Regarding the stand, many folks, myself included, are putting these on their own stands, so the value of an included stand is not much, only as much as it can be resold for.

This or the cordless Makita 10" from a few weeks ago?
Makita is in a box still. I plan for it to sit on a workbench.
I have a cordless 7-1/4" miter saw for any travel work.

*Bought it.

Looks like this saw has only been this low one other time 3 years ago on slickdeals.

Yeah, I need the portability of the quick rise stand to be able to move it from job to job and around job sites. Stand is a must for me personally as it is not staying in one place.

The T4B usually goes for around $300+ on its own

ETA - I'm not shitting on this deal at all...if I didn't need a nice mobile stand as well, I'd be ALL OVER this deal

Damn, if I was in the market for a miter saw, i'd jump on this in a heartbeat. I love my 12" dewalt slider but these articulating arm saws are much more balanced and easier to use against a wall with little clearance.

I tried one this am and it was not eligible for using with this purchase. Used my Lowes Card for the extra 5% off.

I've saved off a video where someone adds a shadow line light to the 12", I haven't checked if the same thing works for the 10".

I have this. I like it a lot and have no complaints. As a reference, I think I paid $460 from an amazon sale last year. I bought the rigid miter saw stand for it which is a little hard to raise due to the weight of this saw but works great once it's erect.
