This saw was $600 WITH the gravity rise stand before Christmas...I'm sitting tight to see a similar deal again or a deal for like $650-$700 for the 12" with the gravity rise stand (T4B). Either size would be fine. These are some big/heavy saws

Regarding the stand, many folks, myself included, are putting these on their own stands, so the value of an included stand is not much, only as much as it can be resold for.
Makita is in a box still. I plan for it to sit on a workbench.
I have a cordless 7-1/4" miter saw for any travel work.
*Bought it.
Looks like this saw has only been this low one other time 3 years ago on slickdeals.

The T4B usually goes for around $300+ on its own
ETA - I'm not shitting on this deal at all...if I didn't need a nice mobile stand as well, I'd be ALL OVER this deal
