Not sure, but they have lots of models. Maybe: 980 pro > 970+ > 980 > 970?

Yeap agree. 980 Pro > 970+ >980 > 970

if similar price on 970+ vs 980, 970+ is better for most users. Only advantage of 980 is using a bit less power - 4.3W vs 5.5W

My research shows that the SN770 is the better option. But at the same time, there are these arguments for the Samsung:

Better SSD cache.?
DRAM cache vs None
Has an integrated heatsink

With that said, seems the SN770 is all-around a better performer.

For my particular use - write cache SSD in mirror RAID on NAS, DRAM less would mean data loss on power outage, so big no. I have UPS for that, but still

AFAIK you need gen 4 SSD to work with PS5. These both drives are Gen 3
