FYI- I bought 4 of the 256GB version for the Nintendo switch and 2 failed within 2 months. They were coming up as fake card via Hekate.

Teamgroup is pretty well known if you know anything about storage brands. Sorry it's not $amsung or $andisk…

When one company's SSDs and RAM are frequently at the lowest prices seen for a given capacity on Slickdeals, you begin to wonder why they are so much cheaper than everybody else. Then you see the reports of bad quality control.

Don't have this exact model, but I have an older team group 512 that I've been using for my switch for years 0 issues.

Team group is a well known Taiwanese brand. Taiwan as in the same country that makes Apple chips.

TEAMGROUP prices/quality are suspicious. I just passed on getting RAM from them.
How can the price be suspicious?

Samsung's 512gb is on SD right now for $39.99, so... The price is exactly where it is expected it to be.
