It doesn't float my boat at all, but a deal for somebody is a deal for somebody. It's not like kitchen knives are less stabby than wall hangers.

For real. In their description, they say it's for the "modern day warrior." 😂

There have been plenty of good knife deals on SD this year but this one is meh. I don't deny CS delivering a quality blade but if it's not the overall design that turns me off, it's the added weight of that ridiculous handle.

No one is going to use this as a weapon. People buy knives to collect. At most it'll get used to chop some water bottles or wood before people realize it's impractical and they stick it in a box and forget about it along with a bunch of other knives that never get used.

I bought this a few months back.

It's not a mall ninja type of build.

It's heavy, and built like a tank.

If I was on a field op and had to walk or patrol for miles every day, this MF'er would stay at home because it's heavy.

BUT, would be decent as a SHTF tool for cutting and chopping down small trees or limbs for shelters, firewood ect.
