The desk I'm sitting at currently is 25" from floor to underside of the desk - these desk legs have a minimum height of 28" - 3" difference is easy enough to accommodate by moving my chair seat higher. But then my legs and weight are no longer truly neutral on the seat so I don't have extra pressure between my legs and the front edge of the seat.
5'11" - so I wouldn't normally expect to have fit issues for things like desks and chairs.
The choice I found was either to spend a lot more and get a 3-stage standing desk that can totally fit me both sitting and standing, or just commit to using it primarily standing such that I'm willing to compromise on the ergonomics of the seated position.

EDIT: didn't work multiple times, but just went back and tried again and it worked. Who knows.
