For $40 difference, I would say go with this one. 2x endurance, DRAM, TLC, low temps, faster speeds.

Buy 2 or more if you need to. Arguably the best Gen 3 nvme out there for laptops and even desktops.

Great drive. Bought in Sept 2022 for $160. This is a no brainer IMO and by all measurements better than the 970 Evo +.

Would also make a great external drive.

I paid $170 for mine back in December… and I thought that was a good deal, this is a buy now think later kinda price!

These drives are so good. I have a 1tb of this and a 1tb gen4 MSI m470 running at gen 4 and they are almost dead even in speed.

Does anyone know if the P31 ships with the latest version of the software on it or do I need to update the firmware first to make it Mac compatible?

Trying to replace the hard drive in an older mac book for the first time so any help is appreciated.
