Usually these are part of some promotion with a credit card, or another payment method added to your account, 1 time per account. I don't see this with any stipulation which is weird, but I will watch it.

Under todays deals, under gift cards the offer is there, however when you click nothing happens. Odd they inserted it so early?

I'm still amazed that anybody that pays for Prime doesn't have the Prime credit card which also gives you 5% all year.

I spend $50 in a week at Amazon so this is basically a free $5. I miss the early days of Amazon though. The promos were much better.

Yes. If you have a Prime CC this really isn't a good deal. The cards 5% back doesn't work on gift cards and you won't earn by using GCs either.

Also the above users math is a little off. 5% of $50 is $2.50 Wink
