I have a 120Hz Philips and can't tell a difference between the two. The sound is far superior on the Sony because it is slightly thicker giving more room for better speakers. The remote is great too. Backlit buttons and voice command. I stood in Sams far longer than I should have staring at TV screens and this Sony had one of the brightest screens and much better viewing angle than any of the other TVs. The only ones that were comparable were the Samsung TVs that cost twice as much. This Sony TV also has a thin black bezel which blends nicely into the screen.
