Grabbed one, thanks. This is great for when a large group of guests are over or I want to make decaf and CBF to pull the beans from our espresso machine.

I got it in the last month, the unit works fine but it add plastic smell and taste to the coffee. Hopefully it will go away. Reviews mentioned the same issue.

I had one for about a year and just a short warning, make sure you keep this clean or use some good filters as I think I may have clogged mine with some coffee grinds.

In my attempt to clean it, I think I poked the ball where the pump moves the water up so it no longer travels up to the drip. But for $10 bucks, this can make a nice gift.

I have this and the carafe spills coffee when pouring. Never had this happen with other coffee makers so maybe it's a design issue with the carafe.

I thought I'm doing something wrong while pouring. But this seems to be a carafe issue.

I bought this on the last deal, it's been more than a month, but the plastic smell didn't went.

In photos it looks really sturdy and they make it looks like a $40 machine. But it's just made with cheap plastic (in the manual it says, all the parts comes to contact with food are made from BPA free plastic).

It does it job, but pease don't go with the MRP, this is a $10-15 machine. So expect that level of quality.

I always flush new coffee makers with water and vinegar.

It's because the spout is narrow. Adding coffee slowly or by tilting less helps with it.

It has its own reusable mesh filter but because I am too lazy to wash it every time I still use paper filter with it. Even though I make it work, its coffee holder is not the standard shape/size which makes using paper filter a bit hard.
