Nope. Just called it like I see it.
In most parts of the world, this would be considered a very casual bribe or greasing the wheels etc. It's just that we don't see it too often in our everyday mundane activities here, so people often confuse what is actually really bribing with tipping. Tipping is usually given for good service, and usually after the service has been offered. There is a fine line.
In many parts of the world, there is so much low level corruption that you have to bribe your way through pretty much all aspects of daily life. Here in the US we only see that kind of influence welding on a higher and bigger scale, politicians etc

I go to Vegas once a year for the last 10 years. Every hotel listed above I think I'd rather get a swift kick in the nuts than stay in any of those hotels.

Albeit, I didn't click the link to see the rest of the list. But the list above is terrible. The only thing that's missing is circus circus. 😂

If you have hyatt explorist or globalist you can tier match to mgm gold which waives resort and parking fees if you book directly through the mgm site.

Are there any cheap and nice strip hotels that *do not* charge a resort fee?

While not an MGM Property, I am sure that it will work elsewhere in Vegas too. When checking into the Venetian I have tipped the check-in person $50 for a 'complementary upgrade' and to 'do something about the resort fees'

9/10 times the resort fees were waived. The one time they weren't, I inquired while checking out saying something like 'When I checked in I was told the resort fees were going to be waived'. That person then took them off the bill.
I'm glad this worked for you, but this rarely works. My friend manages both the MGM and Excalibur hotels and only he can waive those fees. Unless it's a very special circumstance, just complaining or requesting them removed won't work.

Beyond the resort fees, don't forget the parking fees. Your $29 room usually ends up over $100/night after all the taxes, fees and parking.

So where do you stay?

Also to others, there's Only a few hotels off strip that no longer charge resort fees, but if you're staying at igh or Marriott chain do these apply?

Even though already mentioned, seriously do not forget to get a quote on those resort fees, some are quite pricey.
I thought it was a standard $51 with tax. Others are cheaper?

My $29 per night became over $100 with taxes, tourist fees, tourism fee, parking fee, and the dumb resort fee.

For that I'm out.

It's ridiculous how much they are charging now for parking. I missed the good old days when parking was free at every single resort.

I did not expect a response like that.
