These are some of favorite multiplayer games of all time. I wish they were available still on the Xbox marketplace.

I have over 2,000 hours on L4D2 and almost 4,000 hours on TF2. But they pretty much stopped adding new content to both games. It is a shame that there still isn't a modern era game that is similar to and is better than L4D2 or TF2.

Agreed. There's been like four new alternatives that have dropped in the past two years and all four are so dang lackluster

Lots of (good!) custom campaigns in L4D2 Workshop that are still in the server browser.

Have you played Deep Rock Galactic? It reminds me of the Co-op aspect of L4D2 (with hordes and such), but obviously different.

Great buy if you are starting up a Steam Account for F2P stuff or extra account to dump bundle stuff in. You need to spend at least $5 to fully initialize an account.

L4D2 is a great game;
For an older game, I think it's aged pretty well—

Agree with the sentiment that we're long overdue for more content or a new iteration, altogether
