Thought I upgraded to this back in November. Terrible. Hands down. When it's working perfectly, it's inaudible until volume gets to 50/100. 60/100 till you can understand anything, 70/100 starts distorting.

Issues:
Sub connects when it wants, how it wants randomly

Entire speaker bar makes sound 85% of the time. Randomly doesn't, no reason why. Forced to hard reset the speakers, repair with media center...

Duck this piece of trash.

Ohh and Bluetooth.... Hahahahaha lolololol 😂😂😂😂😂 its a joke, you literally have to have your phone withing ONE FOOT or it disconnects.

Don't do it. I'll be fighting with Klipsch when i get time for a refund, i will not accept a replacement.

Garbage.

I paid $399-direct from Klipsch and the shipping was pretty quick. Sound is excellent but as stated the most recent firmware can be a slight glitchy (works better if you don't let the TV wake the sound bar up) Klipsch will update the firmware but you will not find this much sound for $359 elsewhere. The bass is excellent, and the clarity is spot on. The 3.1 can sound a bit directional, adding the Surround 3 speakers (5.1) will fill the room and bring the Klipsch 800 Cinema alive.....the way it's supposed to be. Klipsch tried to high-end the 3.1 market, but this system is so much better as a 5.1. $359 is a steal. A receiver with separate speakers is still the better option, but it will cost way more to improve on the sound this setup gives.

I have the Cinema 700 from Costco deal. The speakers themselves are FANTASTIC. The subwoofer rattled the whole house easily. Didn't have any connectivity issue with the subwoofer. The issue is the firmware. It's complete dogshit. It's glitchy as all hell. For something as simple as a sound bar, Klipsch just could not get it right. They make fantastic speakers. For electronics, they have no clue what they're doing. The entire unit would go mute and require a POWER disconnect and restart every week or so. It randomly refuses to turn on. Every time, the fix would be a restart if you can access the menu. If not, disconnect the power cord. Yes it has the latest firmware. Vizio makes shit speakers, but at least their soundbars just work and stable. I don't know if Klipsch has fixed the firmware issue. If they did, $350 is a FANTASTIC deal.

one awesome thing about this Klipsch 800 which i love in my Klipsch 700 is a sub out, you can buy a wireless Klipsch r12sw which usually runs for 200 in Costco and have 2 subs, that's what i have on my 700 and its awesome if you want a lot of bass but can tone it down with a sub level if needed
What is sub level and how to tone it down?

Thank you. Let me check it. I thought the only was to cast was through Google Home which requires signing in through an account, which I did not want to do. Let me double check.

How is this a Dolby Atmos sound bar without any upward firing speakers? Seems like according to the website it just decodes Atmos but you won't really get the effect? Sounds like some bs marketing.

We have, I think, the 600 (its a 3.1 with remote sub). No connectivity issues with the sub but it loses connection with the TV all the time. Just a HDMI cable connecting them, nothing too complicated. Have to re-handshake to fix (turn off all equipment then back on again).

I recently bought the 700 when B&H was running a promotion. Like many others mentioned, I am disappointed with it. I use eARC but most of the time TV is not able to adjust the volume. It sometimes works and I have no idea how (I had Beam 1 connected earlier and never had an issue). The sound quality is definitely subpar and potentially slightly better than the TV sound only because of the subwoofer.
I threw away the packaging after setting it given it was quite a good deal. I am repenting that decision especially after listening to Samsung S801B in other room. Have not reached out to Klipsch but not sure if they will be of much help

Same. Had it and was shocked how bad it was. My 5 year old soundbar is back and still kicking. I echo almost every sentiment you have. No BS I would not pay $50 for this

Bummer; I have the reference R-20B from 5 years ago and love it, have been great other than less than stellar Bluetooth range, but still good.

I want to buy this, but this does not support Google cast, which is a bummer. I skipped the Samsung deal due to the same reason.
If your tv has google cast, you don't need it on the speaker. It will play from the tv through the speakers.

We have 600. Been 4 years. Not a single issue. No connection fails. No distortion. Excellent sound. Bose, lg, samsung, sonos, sony tried them all. Not the hifi level 3000 sound bars but anything under a 1000. Finally 600 stood out for me. That is it.

The Klipsch units are surprisingly crappy, I'd avoid.
