It was a lot of fun playing this on the Quest 2 wirelessly. One of the best VR games out there.

Yeah, so dead. 3D TV was a fad that lasted maybe 3-4 years before going (mostly) defunct. VR has been constantly growing and going on 10 years with tech that keeps getting better. gtfo.

This is one of the best games ever made. It's on my short list of greatest "entertainment" products of all-time. An absolutely fantastic game.

How was 3D tv a fad?! it would still be a thing today if less people complained. It's still a thing in theaters and now available on laptops. Give it time I'm sure it will be back on TVs again at some point.

the last best VR game ever made...too bad VR is the next 3D-TV..dead
VR will never be dead. It will just be a slow growth until they make tech improvements. They will eventually improve the tech where the headsets will be lightweight and super high resolution and it will blow people away.

I don't know if fad is the right word, but it was just a botched feature rollout that people didn't really have a practical use case for. Most folks aren't watching TV at home like they are watching a movie in a theater. You're doing other things, usually. VR required extra accessories, more expensive media, and a special TV… plus you wouldn't be able to multitask while doing it.

I have a home theater, I don't mind that experience myself, but home theaters are still somewhat uncommon.

I agree. VR will never be dead as long as there is VR Porn. The success of VHS, DVD, and even the internet was all due to horny guys.

Wow, loved HL back in the day. Been out of the gaming computer game for a while, what kind of video card would I need for this game? I'm currently running video graphics of the processor.
You will most likely need a dedicated card. VR is like running 2 screens at the same time (one for each eye) so it's more intensive. I used a gtx 1080 and that is probably on the low end of a comfortable experience. Most of the time it was fine but there was lag at times

all time low if im not mistaken.

some people say this is such an excellent vr experience that it kind of ruins other vr games for you. some say it was the last and only AAA title VR will see for awhile.
