Short answer : No.

Long entertaining answer: https://youtu.be/UnvxSkqJ8ic

My 2cents: Get individual parts and build your own. Don't go through the hassle I went through because I bought an Alienware. I ended up ditching the entire thing and taking only the GPU and CPU. Built my own.

I tried dell support to solve the stuttering/throttling problems I had due to their case being effectively a proprietary cheap oven. Their proposed solution? Lowering the graphics. The truth is that the only solution was to ditch Alienware. Alienware with liquid cooled CPU at + 90 C, GPU at +80 C.

With my DIY build, CPU and GPU are overclocked. CPU nor the GPU pass 70 C under stress tests. No stuttering or throttling while gaming or dumb issues like the Alienware had.
This computer is probably straight garbage I bought a very similar Alienware and it seems like a great deal until you actually look inside the motherboard is garbage and can't be used in other builds because the front connectors are proprietary. They use Intel mounting for CPU cooling for amd CPU the case has terrible airflow and also you can't use the case anywhere else due to proprietary power switch. Basically once you realize that all your parts are insanely hot your out a case motherboard. I recommend Lenovo they don't do that crap
With prices falling below MSRP, we've swung back into normalcy, where it's cheaper to build your own gaming computer than to buy a prebuilt. It's really not very challenging to build your own and there's lots of good videos and articles out there that will walk you through exactly how to do it. Also, it'll make it easier and cheaper to upgrade as time goes on.

Unless you're building a laptop you can't really compare the two

I don't think you understand…

Do you understand what a AIO even is? There's plenty of people who run a 120MM AIO on high end processors including 5950X and 5800X3Ds.

Do you understand what heat capacity means? Do you understand what relocating what is essentially a heatsink into an optimal air location means?

I don't think you've ever used a 120mm AIO. I think you just spread misinformation and pose as someone who is knowledgeable.
Yes you can just thermally throttle for the lolz, it wont die but it's not good

So I ordered the system on 21st with Amex 20% back offer and got the email from Amex. The offer expired yesterday and Dell shipped the system today and there is new charged with todays date. Dell messed up my offer and now I won't be getting the 20% back from Amex. Thinking of returning the system now.

Check the terms and conditions of the Amex offer. I've read in their T&C's about exceptions for situations like this. I think they go by purchase date.

Yeah purchase date is yesterday. Dell dropped the original charger and charged my card again when they shipped it. I am pretty upset and will most likely return this system.

That's odd they did that. Might be worth reaching out to Amex anyways since you made the purchase with the amex card by the deadline.

With the AMEX Discount of $120 and removing the mouse and keyboard because I have my own... $1219

How good of a deal is that? Don't think you can find a 3080 system with that, I do wish it had DDR5. I am actually in the beta trial for CS2 and maybe because its beta but I got 300+ FPS with a Ryzen 2700X and a RTX 2060 Super and now I get 120-225 fps...

Fingers crossed for you a proper return and refund. More than half the time, my returns disappear in the Dell system. It's up to you to keep track of it. Once it has been delivered to Dell, they say it takes up to 15 business days for them to process the refund. Ridiculous it takes them that long. In any case, if after 15 business days you still don't have a refund (likely), you need to contact support (more fun). Then they see it was received by Dell 3 weeks ago, and tell you it will be 10 more business days to get a refund.

When it comes to returns there is Amazon (doing it right) and Dell (makes life hell for the customer).

Good luck.
I am glad I paid with Amex so I don't have to deal with the bull crap. Couple of clicks to file a dispute with Amex and Dell can deal with them.

I think Amex will, at a minimum, defer the charge until it clears under Dell's terms so at least you don't have to pay it before Dell gets it straightened on their end.

Yeah that's pretty much all credits cards will do if you file a dispute. Amex customer service is top notch in situations like this

Anyone recently had success calling 8663503355 for additional discounts? What's your script?

I called and said, "this is more expensive than I originally wanted, is there any price adjustments you can offer?". And was offered to place a different order for something that fits my budget. I didn't want to deal with it so ended there.
My order hasn't shipped yet and I'm not sure if that factored. The person didn't seem to have the authority for price adjustments.

My goal now is to let it get delivered and see if I actually like to against my 1080 ti. I ordered the 6900xt as well and see if the system can exploit resizable bar and play nicely with my Freesync 2 monitor. Gsync seems to drop connection when connecting with my dell s3220dgf monitor
