I bought one from anker_outlet_store on eBay for $38. It looked brand new. It came in a case and a cable. very comfortable, and the battery last very long (didn't time it). It feels more premium than my JBL510 My ears get numb after 15-20 minutes.

I believe that one was sold as the refurbished Anker Soundcore Life Tune, which is comparable to the Q30. The Q35 here has some additional features such as On-Ear Detection and some sound quality/ANC improvements, though it's mostly very similar to the Q30.

Poor build quality. Every single model will fail at the same spot. Where the bands enter the center piece, they have very fragile plastic that will inevitably crack within a year. Just search cracked in the Amazon reviews to see what I'm talking about. They will just send you another pair for free if you complain within 18 months of your purchase. Won't be buying headphones from Anker again.

That's my experience as well. I had a q30 headband that cracked in less than a year. Customer service was excellent though and sent me another pair without hassle.

FYI Neither the Q30 nor Q35 will successfully pair with newer Google TV Chromecasts. It's a known issue according to Soundcore. The Q35 will cause some playback issues with Nvidia Shield, but I'm unable to determine what the issue is.

I got the lifetune refurb (q30) and they are excellent. Best headphones I've ever owned. And I've had the sony XM4. the main reason is great sound quality, extra bass, and "normal" mode. XM4 only had noise cancelling and transparency modes. and since i don't use NC much, transparency in XM4 has static, "normal" in q30 no static, comfortable, good NC, great sound. Not sure about longevity since i got them recently. Also, custom eq in app is excellent.

That's a bummer. I slammed mine against the floor one sleepless night while trying to ANC the neighbors. No issues with breaking. 😁 However, the first pair I owned were replaced due to ANC not malfunctioning.
