I've been using Govees dreamview after using a couple workarounds, I can use Govee with any source and any content and it works. I love Hue products, have a bunch, but they're ridiculously overpriced and this sync box is due for an update

Sure knockoffs are less than half the price, but pretty good deal. MSRP is $250. Can regularly be found for around $200. Still $30 cheaper. In for one.

If I didn't already have this, I'd probably bite at this price. Picked mine up from Best Buy when they were $200 + $50 Gift Card but it's been a while since I've seen a deal like that.

I used to have it sync everything but found that it would sometimes get too dark at night (who remembers that House of Dragon episode that was basically pitch black? Ha) so now I turn on sync manually for certain content. Still recommend.

I've been waiting forever for that deal to come back. I always kick myself for not having done it. I'm apprehensive about buying stuff from Woot

No reason to be from a trust perspective. I bought a refurb Winix C545 from there quite a while back and it's still going strong. As someone else mentioned, they are owned by Amazon, so enough backing there to trust them.

I have both Govee and Hue Sync. In terms of color accuracy, Hue is much accurate compared to Govee.

This. Plus mine has issues where the input goes out or get static images and I would have to power cycle the sync box. Pretty annoying when it happens and it could happen within seconds of powering it on for the first time in the day. Have tried different cables, different inputs, and factory resetting but no dice. When it works, it's nice tho.
