Not disagreeing but Nvidia does have a couple of things going for it. Mainly DLSS and much better ray tracing performance. I wouldn't go for the 3060 at this price point but I do think those bring a lot of value.

I have never found Ray Tracing to be a selling point, more like a marketing gimmick to try and sell higher end cards at higher than reasonable prices.

No wonder.

Keep in mind this is for 1080p gaming, will get away with 60fps/1440p with low graphic fidelity games/lower settings tho.
Amazon warehouse has them for 200-210, pretty sure these are just open box returns vs something like evga b stock thats maybe been mined for years.
Edit: PowerColor Fighter AMD Radeon RX 6600 Graphics Card with 8GB GDDR6 Memory https://a.co/d/gbebaWV the link is showing higher price, but search amazon warehouse (select in pulldown menu on amazon search bar) and theres one in stock for 180.
For better value maybe try a used 5700xt for 150-170, again used cards bad bet because they all break with time/cycles ALL of them, might as well consider gfx a rented subscription item , which really really sucks.
Just keep checking warehouse, its always changing stock. I just scored a garbage tier msi mech 6650xt for 210$, ill just undervolt and cool it well see how long it lasts. 2 year warranty! $85 savings over new and +1 year warranty + some lame game

Go for the 6600 over this, $100-150 cheaper (on sale) and similar performance
