Buy an Echo speed-feed 400 universal head with this and throw away the stock head. You'll save yourself hours of frustration. The stock head would constantly get jammed with straight .080 line.

I would also like to know if this Ryobi 40v is similar or comparable to the Greenworks 80v? Greenworks is more powerful, which would you keep if you had both?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've had the opposite experience and takes .095 line too. Just line it up and pull the string and wind it, easiest bump feed I've used. The size .080 is usually too small for me too.

I use to have this one and used it regularly with my job and I was a fan. I only returned it because my blower was stolen and I got a blower/trimmer combo and I'm disappointed with the new one.
