They're corrugated panels. The soil isn't letting the wind carry away the bed unless it's hit by a tornado.

This is not really a deal for a 4ft x 3ft x 1ft metal garden bed. You can get a 6ft x 3ft x 1ft metal on Amazon for $46-48.
I looked at some of those and thought about purchasing until I saw reviews from a year old that were rusted out. Hopefully these ones are real galvanized steel

Technically they are without brushes.

Most raised beds don't have floors, and yet we don't have an epidemic of flying raised beds. Jesus christ, I wonder why that is.

Retaining walls don't have floors either, their flight to and from warmer weather is majestic.
Mine have just come back from their yearly migration to South America

I bought similar black Vigoro 4x4 beds last year for $70 each. These beds are great. We dug out a small area before putting the bed in to make it more flush with the ground for aesthetics and filled in with dirt. You don't need a cross bar for support after the dirt is in. You do need to be careful to not bend the bed walls before the dirt is in to support it, but wasn't a big issue. Our beds still look new this year, no rust. These are going to last a long time.

I would add that you may need to add some edge trim rubber to the top of the galvanized lip. It can be sharp and harm you, kids or animals. It is inexpensive and worth adding.

Haha, makes me think those concerned over unsecured raised gardens have never shoveled or loaded any significant amount of dirt. A raised garden bed like this is going to be the last thing remaining in your yard if a 100mph Derecho storm comes through.

For a vegetable garden, I'll stick to cedar or natural wood. Galvanized steel has lead and cadmium in the zinc coating.

Northern Tools has Polymer garden boxes. They have a garbage bag type liner in them also. I'm going to invest money in a couple rather than in metal or wood planters.

This is a good reason to go for the quality ones that are powder-coat painted if you buy metal beds. I'm a fan of the ones from Vegega.com, which are made from zinc-aluminum-magnesium stainless steel. I found out about them through a nearby master gardener whom I trust (he's on YouTube as @TheRustedGarden — his Vegega promo code is TRG for 10% off non-sale items). I receive no kickbacks for any of this, nor am I even personally acquainted with this gardener.

Of course, the hardware cloth and staples that I use are galvanized, and most galvanization processes incorporate trace amounts of lead, so there's that.

Finally, it's worth mentioning that in 2004 the use of heavy metals and arsenic in treated lumber was banned in the USA, and treated wood has been studied to death for any sign of harmful leaching, with no indication that it might be dangerous. Exceptions are telephone poles, actual railroad ties, and lumber used in aquatic construction. The moral of the story is that you should avoid and/or get rid of any of those items and any pre-2004 treated lumber, and safely replace it with modern treated lumber, cedar, black locust, etc.

I'm an organic gardener. I prefer to use natural products. Even though there is only a small amount of lead in zinc coatings, why take the chance when there are better alternatives. Yes, cedar costs more but also looks a hell of a lot better than metal, even painted metal from Vegega.com. But that's just me. I've never used treated lumber in my gardening.
