Not "$200 more" but $263 more". Plus you need a combination of a Amex card and a Chase card just to get that pricing.

DP is the protocol meant to handle the video link signal. Either you have DP Alt Mode or not. And when you don't you can't get any video out of the Type C.

Correct, a Type C dongle with an HDMI port will give you connectivity to your monitor. You can find (11port, etc) single HDMI dongles on amazon for ~$30 + the HDMI onboard already available.

Thunderbolt certified hubs/docks are expensive so be aware of that.

Decent laptop for content creators and business apps but not for gamers. Can play light games or some AAA titles with everything lowered to minimum. Drivers are horrible right now but eventually Intel's fixes most things a year or two later.

It's included - I just bought one. It is stellar - clearly refurbishe and origional manufactor date is Feb. 2022 but the battery is clearly new 76w - only 16 cycles. This machine is crazy good. Great thermals and the ARC platform is working like a beast - the video codecs are better than Nvidia.
