I've had all three of these knives and like them for budget blades except for the Paraframe due to the lock that can be iffy about engaging smoothly. Steel is definitely budget, probably 7cr17mov. If you were thinking of getting any of these knives this is a good deal on them if you can find them in your local store. You will be very hard pressed to find better folders for this little money. Note they are all on the smaller side, with the Paraframe being the largest with its 3" blade.

Great deal if you can find it, even with budget blades, Gerber stands behind their products. If you have any issues with them, you return it and they fix it or mail you another - I've done it. That's something you get with few companies these days!
