Careful with Sun Joe. They'll sit on a warranty replacement for months and months. They put poorly designed products out to market and tell you they'll send out a defective part when it's back in stock. In the meantime you wait literally for months with no conformation emails or any evidence of your claim.
Consider your Sun Joe purchase lost money if you don't return within the allowed time.

I recently bought a 18" Sun Joe hedger and was quite impressed. I cut 10+ pampas grass bushes on one charge.

Not my experience. They were really quick with my pressure washer. They even sent me the replacement first. I even think it was out of warranty by a few months - maybe because of covid they gave me a grace period.

I've had mine for about a month and used it a decent amount of clean up the yard, made short work of a dead birch tree branch that was about 6 inches thick. I am very pleased with it for the low price. It has no throttle; it's either ON or OFF. I inherited a Ryobi two-handed cordless brushless reciprocating saw and I find this to a complementary tool which is not at all bad when compared to the better, more expensive ryobi.
