So I've been wanting to get one of these (or a variant of it) for years now. This one seems to check the boxes for me, and I like already being in the hue ecosystem. My worry/question is : I have a Sonos arc. Is there a way to be able to utilize this and still maintain proper hdmi 2.1 compatibility with my Apple TV , PlayStation 5, Xbox one s , etc ?
EDIT : I did some googling and this box does not support HDMI 2.1, so if you use any HDMI 2.1 devices, it will bottleneck its performance/output.
I read there is a rumor or knowledge of a hue sync box 8k version coming out . If it has all ports at HDMI 2.1, it could be worth it's inflated price just for the extra HDMI 2.1 ports alone.
This looks like a great price. I paid full price quite a while ago and have been enjoying it. I don't need 120hz so the limitation isn't a big deal for me, though I would like it to be more future proof.
