Did the price on this shoot up as well? I bought it in Aug for $1.38 a piece.

Last few years the price has been 14 cents after the same $6 coupon, and the same Walgreens B1G50% off promotion. Prices are different at some stores, even ones close, but my list shows a $4.19 price last October, a rather large increase. Good thing I still have a few of these huge bars in stockpile.

I think before there was two coupons you could use in addition to the buy one get one half.

I think these bars were always higher end and pricey without promos. Probably flooded the market with cheap bars and now if you liked the soap and want to continue, price will never be what it was.
On a separate note, I love this soap, but it does leave a lot of dark soap scum behind

Wife and I had nothing but skin problems using SheaMoisture bars from previous deals. We're both different ethnicities and both experienced the same issues. The African Black Soap in particular it wasn't until one of us said something about body acne that the other chimed in saying they were experiencing the same... went right back to Dove and Nivea soaps and everything cleared up. We tried another SheaMoisture mixture and experienced other skin irritations. Now it's a handsoap bar until they're gone.
