Normally what you said is true, but for this specific deal, it's a Quantity-based promo. Meaning, if you buy a Quantity of 2, you get the $5. Regardless of how you paid or what rewards you used.

Thanks! This worked like a charm. I ordered the larger 5 oz Colgate Total Gel vs the inshore 4.8 oz one for Ship to Store and also got the $5 Walgreens Bucks. Also did it with my wife's account and so will pickup 4 tubes for the cost of tax!

Did you actually get the WC when you picked this up?

I just picked up my order and no WC even though it showed at checkout and after I checked out. I grabbed screenshots but feels hit or miss all the time with walgreens. Only thing I can think that was different than other times if they needed to do a substitution but they did fulfill the order.

I just chatted with them for WC issue - what a joke! They said I didnt get it because I had something else in the order that had a coupon?? Just basically making stuff up. Then abruptly ended the chat - useless!
