FYI the footprint is about 8'3" x 8'3" with the screen closed.
Thnx..but I was referring to the distance from the poles to the edge of the top of the gazebo.

I have a similar one but different brand. Went with the 10 x 12 and dont regret the extra size, worth it. I have mine on concrete but didnt anchor it. Instead there were gaps on top of the legs that allowed me to fill the legs with small rocks. Filled the entire lengths of the legs and it is solid. Cant move it at all. I get winds 40-50 mph and it hasnt budged. Maybe a thought for some of you that cant or dont want to anchor. Have had it for more than 5 years.

I purchased this same gazebo for $1000 2 years ago. It's really nice. Definitely need at least 2 people to put it up but it's easy to build. I've since sold my house but it definitely made my yard look awesome. I'll be buying this again for sure.

Ideally I wanted a 10x12 but this deal is just too good to pass on. Got it for $598 after tax using the 10% coupon. I was originally going to get a $1200-$1300 10x12 one but I can literally purchase two of these and make a 10x20 for the same price.

It's about a foot of overhang.. not two.
1' overhang on each side would make it 2'. If it is 10'x10' on top. It will be 8'x8' within the poles. It is important if you plan on placing furniture. Also, if you plan to move stuffs across, like a lawn mower.

The specs say the outside post spacing is 109 inches which is roughly 9 feet. So from the outside of one pole to the outside of the other pole. Which would mean From there to the end of the gazebo is approx one door. Which is equally as important if you have a patio and want to make sure it fits. So I'm not sure what it is you're trying to prove.

I am just saying don't expect the gazebo be 10'x10'. Most perception of space is the area enclosed by the 4 poles, which is significantly less than 10'x10'.

This item is usually $1,000 and was on sale last fall for $799, but this spring is an even better deal at $624.

How far would you need to keep this from the house for rain water roof runoff to not be a concern? I can't imagine installing it inches away would be a good idea.

I've been looking for a deal on a gazebo and this one looks nice and not too expensive (that 10% off helped so will rep both for posting).
