    Yes. I use them exactly for the same purpose. Bought the set of 6 whites last time they were on sale.
    They are very comfortable.
    My recommendation is to get a size up if you machine wash as they have the tendancy to shrink

    These are midweight shirts despite the name. The Ultra Cotton is their heavyweight cotton shirt. Skinny people do not like the "boxy" fit of Gildan, but if you are muscular, have wider hips, or even if your a tiny bit fat they'll fit well. I like Gildan much better than Hanes.
