Any recommendations on this? Planning to go to Korea next month and need a GAN charger for my laptop. Would this and a power converter do the trick? Debating on Anker 736 or 747

He has another video with best chargers of those he's tested. So far, the best is the Satechi 165 watt GAN charger, but several are decent enough.
Thanks very informative. I now know more than I think I wanted to know about power adapters. Before I buy my next one, I'm going to this channel for a review.

You probably don't need a power converter, just an adapter since input voltage is up to 240V

Those are great videos he made, thanks for the link. I bought another one he recommended after going down the rabbit hole. I love geeks that do a deep dive!
this is an excellent charger with a better form factor than their latest GaN Prime series. This 100W adapter doesn't require some add-on to help prevent it from falling out of certain sockets. I've been using this as the primary home/travel charger for phone, smart watch and laptop. It supports PPS standard so can go up to 45W for Samsung's "super fast charging 2.0" charge speed.

Just picked one up, I have anker 100w Gan single and dual c chargers all over the house, but having the 3rd a slot is really useful for a garage/kitchen/family room where we may charge computers, phones, tablets, and peripherals all at once (and many are micro usb).
Please tell me 'super fast charging 2.0' is a real name haha

yes, it's a real name by samsung and misleading since 45W is far from super fast when u have brands doing 200W+ charging. 45W is "super fast charging 2.0" while 25W is just "super fast charging"

Same here. I was looking for a multi-device charger somewhere in the 65-100 watt range and bought this one instead of the 737 despite being 1) older generation, 2) less power, 3) slightly larger by volume. The form factor is just a lot better with this 736 model.
It's also smaller than competing adapters like the UGREEN.
To me, my top considerations are safety, build quality, and size. The technical specifications just have to be "good enough". I say this as an electrical engineer.
It's been this price for quite a while. I got mine off of Ebay when they have the 10-18% off promotion. If you can wait, I would wait for one of those promotions.
I bought this the last time it was on sale. Had no issues so far and it doesn't get that hot either. A few reviewers indicated it had a good/decent power factor so that's cool too
