Has anyone used these on arbor vitae?
Looks like I'd need something like 10 per bush.
Just curious if the product works at all.

For acid loving plants and bushes, I highly recommend holly tone as it changes the soil itself. These spikes, meeh. Not sure if they really did anything...

The dollar store has a pack of spikes for indoor plants for $1.25. I threw the package away, but I think there was about 30 per pack.

I have a dozen one year old blueberry plants in the backyard and a couple young cherry trees in the front. The spikes make it easy to get them some nutrition. You can also drive a stake, pipe or a piece of pvc a few times around the drip line and fill the hole with something like 10-10-10, to achieve the same result but this makes it easier.

If you filter the price history to the past year it looks pretty decent. Hasn't been below $5 since July 2020, from Amazon anyway.

These are little bitty things. I'd use something sized more appropriately for trees & shrubs, like these. If you have a lot, the 160 pack is cheaper...

BTW, if you have a lot of these larger spikes to install, a drill with an auger bit (maybe 1.5") can speed things up: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=drill+..._sb_noss_1
