Anyone have these? How's the sound quality -- good for a low-key audiophile? Build quality? Are the silicon tips removable / different sizes included?

i have these 1.5 years. quite disappointed.
ANC and sound is ok, nothing special.

after 1 year, 1 piece stopped working (warranty service replaced it).
touch gestures are too sensitive.
sometimes takes long time to connect.
sometimes only 1 piece connects and the other doesnt.
sometimes switching ANC on off doesnt work.

i would give it 3/5 considering the price, if it was higher it would be 2/5.

Fwiw I'm not sure I'd keep buying new Sennheiser stuff (unfortunately). They sold off their consumer division to some health devices company a few years ago. Their old stuff is still fantastic but i think their new stuff will be a more disappointing like you said.

Sennheiser sells them for $89.95. Price on Amazon is $10 less. Special Edition means generic Amazon packaging.
