Got this set to replace a Energy 5.1 Take Classic about 4 months ago. Extremely impressed. I still use the Energy's sub with the Jamo's. Dialog is clear even at low volumes, music, games and movies sound great. I have these in an oversized room and they easily fill the room with sound without becoming distorted at higher volume.

Only negatives are the speakers are a bit large (compared to the Energy set), it doesn't come with a dedicated sub (although the speakers themselves have nice bass response). and Jamo seems to be discontinuing some of the accessories like the attachable Atmos speakers.

Just got the center for $50 at best buy open box. online I see the bookshelves excellent for $90 I think all it takes is a good deal like amazon did a few months back. So yes more expensive but I think worth it

They used to have 100' for $14 when you bought 4+ but that deal ended.

I bought the white set on the last deal that was $4 more and they are very good speakers! You're going to need a sub with them, but cross the mains at 80hz and you're still getting punchy bass out of them. My amplifier runs hotter with these, I am going to say that they are considerable less than 8ohm, probably 6ohm.

You probably don't need 14 gauge.

got 3 cheap bt 5.1 amps from aliexpress for $7 a pop, some cheap 24v psus, broke these up into 3 sets of cheap bt speakers, spent less than $200 total for 3 sets of pretty decent living room and workshop speakers

I have 2 runs at around 70' and one run at about 50' I am also setting up another room in the future that will likely have similar lengths.
