But it isn't growing at a rate that keeps up with the rest of the country. It's growth is basically flat. CA is a beautiful state but yes, the politics and cost drive people to live elsewhere.

If people are leaving because of politics, that's good.

Housing needs to be more affordable for the state to grow because it's difficult for people to move here. We also need to complete the high speed rail to open up interior areas of California for development.

I don't know how I managed to book a one-bedroom suite in Aulani pre-pandemic for $600/nt. Now the same room during the same week post pandemic is going for almost $1,600/nt.

Bruh…did you just say complete the high speed rail? That project is literally the largest fraud ever pulled on the public in CA. The short high speed segment from like that they said they were going to complete (that no one will use) is now expected to cost more than the entire project was initially budgeted to cost. Newsome (and Jerry Brown before him) are two of the most incompetent Governors in the country.
