Sorry but I wouldn't do this again, my parents used to have Ooma years ago, there is no getting out of it. If you try to sell the equipment you have to do an ownership transfer etc. they make it difficult on purpose. I switched them to obihai (not sure what it's called now) and Google Voice. No trouble at all. I also signed them up for a 911 service which is also very cheap.

It is easy "to get out of". Cancel your service and walk away. 911 service is included with Ooma. I've used it for many years and appreciate having an IP landline.

Btw I believe blocking will require Ooma Premier subscription. I haven't had to use it, gotten a lot less spam calls compared to years prior (I think the new Govt rules have been helping)
