Been looking for a new tape measure, but reading the "non-promo" reviews for this tool on Home Depot website, many say the tape end doesn't hold straight when measuring. The metal sounds thin, so will look elsewhere but thank you for posting.

Tried to get home depot to price match it from acme and they wanted to price match but include the cost of shipping lol.

Glad Amazon price matched acme. I wanted to give this tape a try but not at $30-40.

$20 for a 35 foot, magnetic tipped tape measure that's printed on both sides? Seems reasonable to me if it's accurate. Plus, you can drop it from 100 feet and it'll still be going strong! Roll

"Tough"... as long as they don't fall 3ft. Lol. It's been a few years since Dewalt made a decent tape. At this point, I just buy FastCap these days because I'll lose a $100 tape and the old go-to's we all would use (Fatmax, Dewalt, Milwaukee, etc) have been cheapened too much.

I have the 16' me 25' version of this. They seem pretty solid, but I haven't dropped one off of a roof or ladder yet.
