Depends. Things have definitely changed post covid toward this kind of thing being more accepted.

I work at a large, conservative financial services firm HQ. Nobody wears ties anymore unless on a client meeting or interview. The uniform du jour is dressy jeans or slacks (Lululemon ftw), a blazer and "dressy casual" shoes like these. Even our clients are thrown off by ties and appreciate a professional, casual attire.

If you're in New York and meeting with HNW clients, ymmv.

Had mine for over 3 years, don't wear much since pandemic. Very solid shoes but does get a little slippery insole depending on the type of socks you wear. Would recommend at this price for sure.

I have the brown one.. nice comfortable, trendy shoes. Thinking about the black but don't see much of a use-case for it. The gray outer sole looks a little odd. But extra $5 for shipping really.. who subscribes to be a plus member to get free shipping anyway.

Back in the day Cole Haan made some pretty good stuff, almost as good as Florsheim. These are atrocities. You would be hard pressed to find cheaper looking leather and the Franken soles are agghhh.

You get what you pay for...maybe wait for Allen Edmonds to have a good sale.
