Good price for the Bathys. Sucks that it doesn't have LDAC and can't be used passively plugged in without using the battery, or this would be the full package headphone.

No returns is kind of weird. If you want the Bathys at the same price with ability to return, this site is also offering 20% off on Focals.

These were great for the few months I had them, with one glaring issue: you cannot turn off noise cancelling without enabling transparent mode. If you want the passive isolation of closed-back headphones without enabling noise cancellation, it's not possible. I mainly got these because of the USB DAC/AMP that was built in, so I just use a single cable when in the office instead of a portable DAC/AMP. I ended up returning them (and I know of at least two other friends that have for the same reason).

I wonder if they are being discontinued due to the number of returns...

All Focal headphones are not included in this deal. Expressly excludes Utopia headphone and speaker lines as well as certain other speaker lines.

This is correct, I saw the Utopia on headphones.com at 20% off, but that was an open box item.

Also focal elegia is on sale at multiple places for 319.20 down from 399.99 which is down from 800-900 at launch.

If price goes the way of the elegia where it's slashed to 300s I might pick them up. Seems very possible.

I have a PX8 but am curious as all hell about the Bathys.

*edit* Bought. Pretty excited. Have been scouring ebay and this is cheaper than used ones with the full 3 year warranty.

These are not worth 639 even..the build quality is NOT refined and looks like focal just wanted to get something out there in the popular wireless and category. They look amateur.

Agree with someone else that's waiting for them to be sub 400.

These just don't have the sex appeal to splurge and their core base audiophile will shun this model.

I'd venture we'll see this at 299 for a blowout this year sometime
