i got the 11th gen with 16 gb and i won't be replacing it as long as i can get windows updates, which could very well be ten years from now
But that Book3 pro is looking enticing too.

I can open several hundred chrome tabs on windows 10 pro 4gb ram n2970 I think it is.
and on my 8gb newer more powerful I can do over 1000 with no noticeable slowdown.

I have a desktop so the laptop is for when I'm on the couch or traveling so it doesn't get heavy usage, but when I'm browsing, watching shows, listening to music, looking at spreadsheets, etc, I don't even notice the difference vs. my 32GB RAM desktop with a 5900X.
Obviously depends on your use case, so if you're just casually browsing the web and doing what 99% of the people do on a laptop, you'll be fine. If you're a power user doing demanding software, then obviously look somewhere else?
