This routinely sells for $99 after the holiday Home Depot hack if you can wait. Cheaper and comes from a reputable seller

Honest question, what is the concerns in this scenario? Would Amazon not honor any fufilment issues if it did not arrive in a sealed Dewalt box? Is there a legitmate worry of 'TrulyTheBest' packaging bunk parts in a false Dewalt box and Amazon not removing them for such?

It was $169 at Home Depot over the holidays in the NY area. Never seen it for $99; are you sure it was the "advantage" version and not the vanilla 20v model?

First of all, I highly doubt TrulyTheBest is an authorized dewalt dealer, making any warranty claims void immediately, so you're only covered for the 30 day amazon return policy. Second, buying branded products that are sold by Amazon you are buying directly from the verified brand owner, or verified by the brand reseller, so you are almost guaranteed authentic products. Amazon doesn't mess around with counterfeits. But yes, if you received some junk in a bo you could return it, but if you received a cleaned up used tool you would never know and not be covered in the future. There's some major risk there.

This is not the same as the $99 one that goes on sale. And there is no gray-area "hack" to deal with to screw over a big box retailer.

Just wanted to pass along, mine arrived today and the thing is solid. Loaded it up and tested it out on a piece of angle iron. Came with all the internal accessories and manuals and packing just as expected with new Dewalt tools. Nothing at all to worry about. Thanks to OP!
