There is a memory card. Bought 2 about 9 months ago. I installed one and it's actually a pretty good camera. I have no complaints. Main things i love are the Free app, free notifications and has a memory card.

I have 2 of these devices. One mounted outside my detached garage and another on the back of my house. So far, I've had no complaints about the wifi connection. They are very bright. I also like that the app and notifications are free.

Video can only be watched in the Feit app. You can connect the lights to Alexa or Google Home, but you can't view video in the respective apps.

If wi-fi connection is weak, consider using a range extender.

Don't bother with Feit. Their smart devices are crap and lose wifi connection too often. Got a Eufy which is not perfect either but at least maintained the connection a lot pre reliably.

I bought this at $80 at Costco near me and could not connect it to wifi 6e. I had to enable 2.4GHz guest wifi to use this camera.
I now think it is better because the camera will not be able to see equipments connected to my main network.
I concur - I would highly recommend placing this and most all security cameras with Wi-Fi connections on your router's segregated 2.4 ghz guest network. In fact, that may be some of the reason others were having so many connections issues - they weren't using the 2.4g bandwidth.

It's only meant to be used on 2.4GHz, specifically says so.

Just bought it today, they are in the electronic section not with the other floodlights. My store probably had at least 50 of them. A regular floodlight is about this price so even if the camera worked 25% of the time I wouldn't care, this is a great extra deterrent.

My wifi 6e has 3 bands using same SSID, all other 2.4GHz only devices can connect without problem except this. 6e has 2.4 and 5 and 6GHz.

Interesting. I will be installing this later today so I will see then if I have any issues.

Owed 2 of this. Paid $80 each. Works well except false motions by snow and rain sometimes. It came with a Micro SD. No issue with Wi-Fi since I have TP-Link mesh system covers the whole house. Recommended. I will grab one more if I can get with this price at my local warehouse.

Poor WiFi connections (even when on a separate 2.4Ghz network that I use for just IoT stuff)

False motion from rain and snow (and flying bugs)

One of the LED light heads now operates at 1/2 the output of the other side after 9 months (installed June 2022).

A lot of times you have to connect your smartphone to the 2.4ghz band while you are setting up the device in your app. Then the phone pushes the wifi info to the camera.

I've not had any issues with wifi and this is ~2 years in. Definitely not the best quality of anything (night vision, video, motion control) but it does the job and is cheaper than competitors both in upfront cost and no subscription.

Generally, I would recommend this to someone looking for a budget wifi camera/ light.

Anyone know if there's enough adjustment play to make sense mounting upside down under a soffit?
No. I tried. you have to hack something together with an elbow. I have had these for 2 years. I found a place to mount them on the wall. Good quality.

I am torn, I have a 3-yr old ring floodlight cam right now but sick of the $40 per year subscription. Memory cards makes so much more sense. But I hear the Eufy has zone/motion detection issues and the light is overly sensitive but that the camera detection zones and sensitivity settings are terrible. Anyone know how the motion zones work on this? are they nicely customizable? Sounds like the Wi-Fi on this one might be weak. It will be mounted outside on the header of the garage looking over the driveway and that might have a weak signal to my router.

I agree. I got some Feit switches and they are a pain. I mean took direct wifi to the switch to configure and then keep losing wifi now and then. All my other IoTs are just fine.

Same here. I can't speak to the quality of other Feit products, but these have been solid. The motion recording + free micro SD storage without any subscription fees is great. At $50 with included micro SD card, this is an excellent deal.

Agreed that the Wi-Fi on this is trash. I literally gave an access point five feet away and it takes an eternity to even connect via the app (which reports 99% Wi-Fi strength, whatever that means). Never connects at higher than 1mbps upstream. Works great as just a floodlight though. But that's it. I'm looking to replace mine with a Ring or something.
